ABOUT OUR TUTORS
Before being assigned even one student, a EUREKA tutor MUST:
- Prove to be among the nation's top scorers on the SAT* or ACT
- Undergo over 25 hours of training and demonstrate mastery of EVERY aspect of the EUREKA curriculum BY DOING EVERY PROBLEM IN THE EXTENSIVE MATERIALS
- Pass a rigorous teach-back interview at which the EUREKA CEO, Jason Moreno, personally screens each tutor's teaching and communication skills
- Fully pass a thorough background screening and reference check
During the tutoring process, your EUREKA tutors will:
- Review your child's diagnostic tests to determine strengths and weaknesses and monitor progress
- Develop customized lesson plans tailored to your child's individual needs
- Create a caring and nurturing environment in which your child will gain the confidence and skills needed to succeed
- Be available between lessons by phone and email to answer questions
For every 100 resumes we receive, EUREKA hires approximately two tutors. You can rest assured your child is receiving instruction from some of the brightest, most personable SAT and ACT experts in the business. To us, it doesn't matter how high someone scored on the SAT or ACT if they can't teach others how to do the same.

Account Manager
Eureka Review takes SAT & ACT preparation to a personal level with its one-on-one tutorial model, the most effective approach for raising test scores. In the past 7 years, EUREKA has seen amazing results and impressive growth throughout California. We know EUREKA's success depends on its people, and we're looking to add to our team. EUREKA is currently looking for multiple Account Managers to work directly with families and high school college counselors. This is a full-time position. EUREKA Account Managers have the opportunity to earn a very solid income while helping students improve their college admissions scores.
The ideal candidate:
- Has experience working with students, families and counselors
- Is familiar with the SAT and ACT tests and college admissions requirements
- Is skilled in converting positive customer experiences into future business opportunities
Responsibilities:
- Make calls to interested families and provide phone consultations
- Take inbound calls and present information to customers
- Manage data in the CRM system for students and school officials
- Manage relationships with school officials, primarily counselors
- Periodically present at events in the evenings or on weekends
- Stay abreast of developments in the area of education - specifically test preparation and college admissions
- Create new ways to convert customers into raving fans
Qualifications & Experience:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Compelling presenter and influencer
- Great interpersonal skills and presence
- Strong attention to detail yet able to see the big picture
- Demonstrate creativity as well as sound organization
- Holds a Bachelor's degree
Preferred qualifications:
- All of the above, plus
- Has at least two years prior educational experience (tutoring company, admissions, counseling, teaching, etc.)
- Has at least 2-3 years of sales experience
- Has received professional sales training
- Holds a Bachelor's degree from a top university
Compensation:
Competitive base salary plus commission for $50-65k OTE (DOE), health, dental and vision insurance, paid vacation

SAT I Tutor (Part-time)
