ABOUT OUR TUTORS
Before being assigned even one student, a EUREKA tutor MUST:
- Prove to be among the nation's top scorers on the SAT* or ACT
- Undergo over 25 hours of training and demonstrate mastery of EVERY aspect of the EUREKA curriculum BY DOING EVERY PROBLEM IN THE EXTENSIVE MATERIALS
- Pass a rigorous teach-back interview at which the EUREKA CEO, Jason Moreno, personally screens each tutor's teaching and communication skills
- Fully pass a thorough background screening and reference check
During the tutoring process, your EUREKA tutors will:
- Review your child's diagnostic tests to determine strengths and weaknesses and monitor progress
- Develop customized lesson plans tailored to your child's individual needs
- Create a caring and nurturing environment in which your child will gain the confidence and skills needed to succeed
- Be available between lessons by phone and email to answer questions
For every 100 resumes we receive, EUREKA hires approximately two tutors. You can rest assured your child is receiving instruction from some of the brightest, most personable SAT and ACT experts in the business. To us, it doesn't matter how high someone scored on the SAT or ACT if they can't teach others how to do the same.

SAT I Tutor (Part-time)
Being a EUREKA Tutor might be the best part-time job you could ever have. We have great students, great training, and allow you to structure unique lessons for individual students. More importantly, working with the students, a flexible schedule is possible.
